We’re thrilled to share that Festival Hydro has donated an incredible $11,780 to support exceptional cancer care at the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance - Stratford General Hospital!
This generous contribution comes from their 2024 Go Paperless campaign, where Festival Hydro donated $10 for every customer who made the eco-friendly switch to e-billing.

A heartfelt thank you to With Love and Grace for their donation of $720.50 to support our Special Care Nursery!
This generous gift is a testament to Kathleen and Matthew’s gratitude for the care their twins, Noah and Grace, received after being born prematurely at 35 weeks. Moved by the compassion of our Maternal Child Team Members, they’ve made it their mission to give back to organizations that support premature babies and their families.
In honor of World Prematurity Day on November 17th, With Love and Grace launched a special edition purple satin scrunchie, with 100% of proceeds supporting their donation. They also donate 10% of all sales year-round to the our Special Care Nursery along with the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation.

A big shout-out to Aisin Canada for their $1,000 donation in support of our Mental Health Unit.
In October, the team at Aisin Canada came together for Mental Health Awareness with a creative twist—a month-long draw where the grand prize was a pie in the face of their President and General Managers! Their efforts raised an incredible $1,400, and with Aisin’s company match, $3,000 was shared among three local organizations.

A "Chance" to Bring Smiles!

Thank you to PetSmart Stratford and their wonderful pet parents (a.k.a. customers) for the incredible donation of stuffed animals!
These cuddly companions will bring comfort and joy to children in our Pediatrics Unit and Emergency Department and brighten the days of patients living with dementia, mental health challenges, and more.
This donation was made possible through the Chance and Friends program, which has donated nearly 10 million stuffed animals since 2013, spreading kindness one hug at a time.
Shave Cancer Away: Thank You Steph & Evelyn!

On November 25, we had the privilege of attending the heartfelt Shave Cancer Away event, a remarkable initiative led by HPHA Environmental Services team member Steph and her friend and current patient, Evelyn.
Together, they courageously shaved their heads to support the new Cancer and Medical Clinic —a cause close to both of their hearts.
We are thrilled to share that, thanks to their incredible dedication and the generosity of our community, $4,270 has been raised to date!
This event is especially meaningful as we bid farewell to Steph, who celebrated her retirement on November 26 after years of compassionate service, bringing comfort to patients in our Chemotherapy Unit. Steph, we’ll miss you dearly and wish you all the best in this new chapter of life!
To Evelyn, we send our strength and support for your treatment journey. Your courage inspires us all.
