Lorene Donaldson was more than a mother, grandmother, wife, and businesswoman—she was an artist, a nurturer, and a beloved member of her community. Together with her husband John, they built a legacy with Lori-Jo Supermarket.

Even as Lorene faced the challenges of dementia, she remained the heart of her family. John, in her memory, has made it his mission to support dementia care in Stratford, ensuring others receive compassionate care like Lorene did.

50/50 Fundraiser Returns September 3

The Stratford General Hospital Foundation is excited to announce the return of its online 50/50 draw fundraiser, kicking off on September 3, 2024 at 10 a.m.

“We’re thrilled to bring this fundraiser back after a successful run in 2021,” says Cheryl Hunt, Executive Director. “This time around we’ve got new price points and are happy to be adding some Early Bird Draws!”

Ticket packages include 300 tickets for $40, 100 tickets for $20, 20 tickets for $10 and five tickets for $5.

Starting September 3, 2024 at 10 a.m. tickets will be available for purchase at www.sgh5050.ca. In-person ticket sales will also be available at the Stratford General Hospital Foundation office, during office hours. Please note, supporters must purchase new tickets each month to be entered in that month’s draw.

Adam & Erma Clarke’s legacy gift has helped us reach 92% of our $30 Million In Our Hands Capital Campaign goal in gifts and pledges. The Clarke’s gift will receive naming recognition of the Pharmacist’s Study in the new Cancer & Medical Care Clinic expected to open in the Fall of this year.
